BEST Consultants were commissioned to undertake the electrical services on the Peak Apartments development. Condor Tower is located at 229 Adelaide Terrace, East Perth.
The 20-level tower offers 54 luxury apartments in the heart of the Perth CBD. This prestigious building also incorporates state-of-the-art security features and superb amenities for residents. BEST Consultants were engaged to provide consultancy services for:
- Electrical
- Security
- Communications
- Mechanical
By combining our research on similar completed projects with understanding of Western Power’s design & quotation process we were able to reduce the capital head-works charge for permanent power by some 25% and construction power by 50%. By modeling the project in accordance with AS/NZS1768 Lightning Protection we were able to demonstrate by using surge protection we could remove the requirement for down conductors. Our 3-D lighting models illustrated how we could provide lighting for the stores from adjacent service corridors once the solid walls were reduced in height.
Working with the Aquatic Engineer & Landscape Designer we were able to provide a number of complying lighting solutions for review & comparison. The power infrastructure allows for the body corporate to negotiate with energy retailers to ensure the owners and tenants have the most economic tariff’s made available to them.
Construction is now complete on this spectacular development.
