Background
Building Engineering Services + Technology (BEST Consultants) was established in January 2002 to provide an Electrical Consultancy Service for Commercial and Industrial Buildings and has enjoyed favourable growth within those sectors in Western Australia and remote parts of Australia.
In early 2006, BEST Consultants and WMA (Formerly Wright MacKay) Consultants announced the merger of companies, with the vast experience of Arnold Hoehn, to form one of the largest single discipline electrical consulting practices in Perth. The merger accentuated BEST Consultants’ focus on core disciplines of electrical, communications, security, lighting, vertical transportation and fire detection.
April 2007 marked a further step in the continued growth of BEST Consultants, as Keith O’Malley joined the company as a fourth Director. Keith’s extensive experience includes his renowned reputation as a leading Lift Services Consultant, which brought a new dimension to BEST Consultants.
In August 2008, the senior management team was further extended with Joe Romano joining BEST Consultants. Joe’s experience in a broad range of electrical engineering projects further expands the expertise and reinforces BEST Consultants as a major Electrical Services Consulting practice.
BEST Consultants’ Directorship have over 45 years experience in electrical and lift consulting and a total of 80 years in the broader electrical and lift services industry. Together they have specifically selected staff with expertise in the core business disciplines to further strengthen BEST Consultants’ expertise within the market place.
