Bunbury Library
The new library and data centre was completed in 2008 and comprises of a state of the art, high technology public library area of 1600m2. The library is supported by an onsite data centre, constructed to achieve and maintain the high level of reliability required by today’s technology hungry users.
Extensive use of data outlets and wireless hot spots provide users with the ability to access material for research or leisure in addition to traditional printed media. The City of Bunbury were determined to make this building a centre of technology and therefore invested substantially into providing a dedicated data centre with VESDA, UPS, diesel generator, computer flooring, surge protection and special air conditioning.
