Century City
Century City is located at 100 St Georges Terrace, Perth. This project consists of a 17 level office building, which boasts 29,000m2 of office accommodation.
The building has been accredited with an Australian Building Green Rating of 4.5 stars and a Green Star rating of 4.5 Stars, which ensures that the design and construction of the building is not only extremely energy efficient but is environmentally conscious. The building was fully tenanted prior to completion including major tenants such as: National Australia Bank, Japanese oil and gas giant Inpex Browse, the National Offshore Petroleum Safety Authority and retailers Woolworths.
The building features an office tower facing St Georges Terrace and a three-level retail centre fronting both the Hay Street Mall and St Georges Terrace. Leading edge technologies incorporated within the building include:
- Destination control lift call system.
- Integrated ELV systems enabling all building management systems to be accessed via a central computer.
- Intelligent lighting control system employed throughout the entire building.
- Fibre optic and Category 6 building manager’s communications network.
- Onsite power generation supporting base building and tenants power and lighting. Century City is scheduled for completion in 2009.
