Comet Bay College
BEST Consultants were commissioned to design and document the electrical and lift services on the $25 million upgrade to the Comet Bay College. Comet Bay College is located in Secret Harbour, Western Australia. The College was opened in 2006 and currently only takes Year 8, Year 9 and Year 10 students.
The new upgrade will include building of the Years 11 and 12 Upper School. During this time provision will be made to house Year 11 students. The school consists of a block for each year level, a gym, library, an oval, cafeteria, Performing Arts area and an Administration area.
This stage of the works will have an innovative approach to lighting with a C-Bus control system as well as combining a number of interactive student services. BEST Consultants were selected to undertake this project based on our broad range of educational experience and our proven track record of delivering projects on time and with budgetary constraint. This upgrade is currently underway and is due for completion in 2010.
