Ellenbrook Secondary Collage
BEST Consultants were commissioned to undertake the electrical services on the $25 million upgrade to Ellenbrook Secondary College. The College is located in the Ellenbrook Town Square and includes some unique architectural features.
The initial College development was opened in 2007 and currently caters for Year 7 and Year 8 students. Stage 2 of this development will see the construction of additional educational and support buildings to enable the College to offer places to Year 11 in 2010 and Year 12 in 2011.
The completion of this development will transform Ellenbrook Secondary College into a state-of-the-art public school with outstanding facilities.
The Stage 2 building works will consist of 10 general classrooms, an education support classroom, seven science laboratories - with preparation rooms, stores and a computing area. In addition, there will be materials technology facilities comprising woodwork and metalwork studios, a machine room, and technical graphics and mechatronics studios.
External works will include 2 new tennis courts within the school’s existing sporting facilities. Some refurbishments will be made to existing buildings to include new textiles and visual arts studios, and two general classrooms.
