Wesley College - Joseph Green Building
This project consisted of a complete refurbishment of the existing four storey Joseph Green building. The purpose of the refurbishment was to upgrade the existing specialised performing arts facilities to meet current Codes and a school commitment to specialised Performing Arts building.
The electrical services upgrade consisted of a complete state of the art digital stage lighting and audio visual system. These digital systems are the latest products released within Australia and the first system to be installed in Western Australia. The design criteria by the Client was to provide a flexible system that was easy to use, whilst producing a commercial quality product.
The digital systems installed utilises Category 6 data cabling throughout the entire building. Both the stage lighting and audio visual equipment can be transmitted over the one cable type. This reduces the onerous fixed cabling techniques used in conventional stage lighting and audio visual systems. The feasibility of the system allows the equipment to be operational anywhere within the building and can be viewed anywhere on the campus.
