William Street Lighting Upgrade
BEST Consultants were commissioned to undertake the electrical services on the William Street Lighting Upgrade project, working with LightPlan who took the role of Municipal Lighting Designer and Lead Consultant.
The William Street Upgrade is part of an ongoing programme of street improvements being done by the City of Perth to make the City more pedestrian friendly.
William Street originally was a two-way street and City of Perth made the decision to reinstate the two-way traffic flow. This decision is only one part of the redevelopment of this entire area. Murray Street Mall has already been upgraded and the Forrest Place Overpass has been removed. These changes will overhaul the City Centre attracting many new businesses to William Street.
Construction was completed on this Upgrade Project in 2008.
